UV flatbed printer winter maintenance manual
After entering winter, the drop in temperature will directly affect the normal operation of the UV flatbed printer, and the phenomena shown are: ink breakage, light color, abnormal noise, flying ink, etc. At this time of year, it is necessary to perform some maintenance on the equipment in advance. Common ones are:
1. Beam, screw
When the UV flatbed printer is running in a dry and relatively low temperature environment, the lubrication effect of the lubricating oil on the printer guide rail and screw will be weakened, and the friction resistance of the trolley will increase when moving, which will produce abnormal noise on the one hand and reduce the printing effect on the other hand. It is necessary to wipe the lubricating oil frequently to keep the surface clean and tidy.
2. Power supply, voltage
When the air is dry, static electricity will occur frequently, which can easily to interfere with the normal operation of the equipment, and the ink output of the head is unstable. In severe cases, it will cause the main rice and ink head to burn. In addition to requiring the equipment to be equipped with a voltage stabilizer, a grounding wire is also required. The power supply line should be separate and cannot be mixed with other equipment. No other equipment should appear within 2 meters around.
3. Printhead ink
The lower the temperature, the lower the fluidity of the UV ink. If the head supports it, you can install heating plates on both sides. If not, you can configure a small sun 30 cm-50 cm away from the trolley head and turn it on during the operation of the equipment. Of course, it is best to configure air conditioning in the workshop to keep the ambient temperature below 20℃. Remember that the air outlet cannot be aimed at the machine table.
4. Water tank
If a water-cooled cooling system is used, the addition of antifreeze is necessary. The replacement cycle of pure water is recommended to be once a month, not more than 3 months.
If it is not used for a long time in winter (more than 5 days), it is recommended to remove the head, clean it and seal it, and cover the surface of the equipment with a special black cloth to avoid dust accumulation; the bottle of UV ink cannot be placed on the ground for a long time. The low temperature of the ground will cause the UV ink to condense and precipitate.
