Nine common printing processes

Laser engraving:

With a maximum precision of 0.01mm, advanced laser technology can make creative engravings and patterns on paper, and can be combined with other processing to achieve the effect that meets the printing requirements.

Hot stamping:

After heating the metal plate, the pattern is pressed on the paper through tin foil. Due to its eye-catching visual performance, it is popular and widely used. There is also a hot stamping effect, which uses paper or other flat objects with embossed effects to transfer the hot stamping film to the embossed paper or other flat objects through a laminating machine with hot stamping film.

Letterpress printing:

A traditional printing technology that presses the paper after rolling ink on metal movable type or metal engraving plate. The pressure of printing on the paper can be adjusted according to needs to form a very deep three-dimensional effect.

Inkless embossing (embossing):

A processing technology that uses metal plates but does not heat, use tin foil, or use ink to directly press on paper. It is suitable for presenting the original texture of paper or expressing it in a minimalist style.

UV printing:

It is a printing method that uses special inks that dry when exposed to UV light. It is suitable for paper that is not easy to dry, or other flat materials such as acrylic and wood.

Side gold stamping:

The side of a pile of books or business cards is stamped with gold foil, which can echo the gold stamping on the front and back, showing a high-end texture.

Die cutting:

Printed materials or other paper products are made into die-cutting knife plates according to pre-designed graphics for cutting, so that the shape of the printed materials is no longer limited to straight edges and right angles, which is especially practical in the design and production of packaging boxes.

Lithographic printing:

Lithographic printing is a fast and stable mass printing technology that is widely used in various paper materials and can use various inks. It is a very good and economical choice when the production needs are large.

Screen printing:

A traditional printing process using a screen made of nylon thread. Most of the printing on paper can only be done in single or several colors. Since it is a semi-manual process, it is not suitable for products with high precision requirements if there is overlapping of colors.
